LINDA GLEESON

BEHIND THE BRUSH

Linda Gleeson (1963 - ) was born in Gosford, NSW, Australia. Daughter of Terry Gleeson (artist) and Beverly Payne, she was the third of six children. Linda attended St Patrick's Primary School and St Joseph's Catholic College, East Gosford, and Erina High.

 

At age 17 Linda began working as a graphic designer in North Sydney at David Rose Advertising. Linda moved to Sydney after working for several companies including
Hanna Barbera, David Jones and Myriad Communications.

 

Linda worked as a graphic designer for 15 years, in Sydney, Los Angeles and Canada, painting and drawing in her spare time. 

 

Linda has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder since the age of 19.
